Since being introduced to horses by her grandparents as a child, Holly has worked with horses her entire life.
- In England she spent her time in the schooling arena with a retired Cleveland Bay from the Queens stables.
- In 1st grade she learned to ride in a ‘Calvary’ saddle on a BIG horse and wanted to do one thing, Jump!
- In Junior high her family got their first horses of their own. A Saddlebred and a /12 Arab/Saddlebred. Holly got the worst of the two. Before out of Jr. High she was already showing and fox hunting.
- During high school she learned to work with multiple breeds and in multiple disciplines. Jumpers to park horses, cutting horses to gaitedhorses.
- After leaving high school, she was invited to design and implement the Equestrian classes for the University of New Mexico and managed the program for seven years.
